Naukri 360 ATS Resume Checker: What the Free Scan Gives and What It Asks For
The Naukri 360 ATS resume checker gives you a free score band for a PDF or DOCX after you authorise Naukri to call or SMS you about paid services. The landing page describes a full parse report; the tool its button opens returned the word High with no number and no findings in our one documented run, and the detailed feedback it offers is Naukri's resume-writing service.

The Naukri 360 ATS resume checker gives you a free score band for a PDF or DOCX, and asks you to authorise Naukri to call or SMS you about its paid services before it shows it. The landing page at naukri.com/naukri360/ats-resume-checker describes a score out of 100 with parse failures, missing keywords and formatting issues, but the page has no upload box: its button opens the older Naukri FastForward Resume Quality Score tool.1 In our one documented run, that tool returned the word “High” in about four seconds, with no number and no findings.2 The detailed feedback it offers for a low score is Naukri’s resume-writing service.
This page is research-based. It describes what Naukri’s two pages say, as read on 11 and 14 September 2026, and what we observed on 12 September 2026 when we ran one resume through eight checkers. ATS Score Checker publishes a competing tool, so read this as an interested party’s summary and check both Naukri pages yourself.
What does the Naukri 360 ATS resume checker give you for free?
A score band, and in our run nothing else: no number, no list of findings, no extracted text. That is less than the landing page promises, so it helps to separate the two pages.
The landing page reads well. It says to upload a PDF or Word file, add a job description because “keyword matching only means something against a specific role”, and then read a report with “your score, the sections that failed to parse, the keywords the role expects that your resume does not contain, and the formatting issues to fix”. It lists six areas the checker looks at: parsing and structure, keyword match (with the good example that a search for “Chartered Accountant” may not surface a resume that only says “CA”), formatting, section headings, content quality and file hygiene.1
None of that is a tool. The landing page has no file input. Its “Try Our ATS Resume Checker” button links to resume.naukri.com/resume-quality-score, Naukri FastForward’s Resume Quality Score page, which has no job-description field and describes a different product: an algorithm that scores the resume on 25-plus parameters and benchmarks it against other job seekers, after which a low score can get detailed feedback from Naukri’s experts.3 The parameters are not listed on either page.
On 12 September 2026 we uploaded a clean, single-column Java developer resume there. The result was the word “High”, in about four seconds, with no number and no finding attached to it. The same file scored 70, 72, 80 and 85 on four other tools that afternoon.2 A band with no evidence cannot be acted on or checked against your file. You can run the free ATS resume checker here on the same file and see every check with the text it came from, then compare.
What does the Naukri tool ask for before it shows the score?
A PDF or DOCX under 2 MB, or the resume from your Naukri account, and a tick on a consent box that authorises calls and SMS about Naukri’s paid services. The upload area says “Drag & Drop your Resume here or Browse to choose file”, accepts pdf and docx to 2 MB, and offers “Fetch from Naukri Account” as the alternative. Beneath it sits the checkbox: “By checking my CV Score I authorize Naukri to call/SMS me regarding Naukri Paid services”.3
Read that line for what it is. The score is free of money and priced in consent. Naukri’s paid services on the same page are resume writing and the FastForward bundle, and the page carries a toll-free number and a “call me back” button. If you tick the box, expect the call. Whether a Naukri login is forced before the result cannot be told from the page without uploading; “Fetch from Naukri Account” reads as optional.
Two things are absent. There is no job-description field, so the keyword match the landing page describes has nothing to match against. And there is no paste option. For comparison, the checker on this site takes a PDF, a .docx or pasted text with no account, no consent box and no phone number.
What is gated behind the free Naukri score?
The reasons behind the number. Naukri’s route to them is a human expert, which means its resume-writing service. The tool page’s own words are that a low score can get detailed feedback from “our expert” to fix the issues; there is no self-serve report described, paid or free.3 The landing page’s second button is “Buy Naukri360 Pro”, whose page on 14 September 2026 listed auto-apply, job alerts, an AI resume maker and mock interviews with no rupee price in the visible text.1
Prices for the writing service are not on either page. Third-party listings in 2026 put Naukri resume writing at about ₹4,200 for mid-level and ₹5,300 for senior profiles, and FastForward services from ₹890 a month.4 Treat those as reported figures; the page you see at checkout governs. The point for a job seeker is simpler: on Naukri, the answer to “why is my score low” costs money and a phone call, and the checks that produced the score are never shown.
The landing page also carries a template gallery with tabs for Two column and Photo templates, directly under copy that says two-column layouts and images break parsers. The advice is right. The gallery sells the thing the advice warns against.
How do Naukri 360’s score bands relate to ours?
The bands are the same three; the checks behind them are unpublished on Naukri’s side, so an 80 there and an 80 here are not the same 80. Naukri’s landing page uses 80 to 100 for a resume that parses cleanly and matches the role, 60 to 79 for readable but missing keywords or carrying formatting issues, and below 60 for a parser struggling to read the file, and it says there is no universal passing mark.1 Our rubric reads 80 and above as clean and readable, 60 to 79 as worth an evening, and under 60 as usually structural.5 Same shape, same honesty about the cut-off.
The difference is everything under the bands. Same criteria for each column:
| Criterion | Naukri 360 landing page (described) | FastForward tool (observed) | ATS Score Checker |
|---|---|---|---|
| Score | Out of 100; bands 80–100, 60–79, below 60 | A band; “High” in our run, no number | Out of 100; bands 80+, 60–79, under 60 |
| Checks named | Six areas, no individual checks or points | “25+ parameters”, none listed | Every check with points, evidence, fix and source |
| Weights published | No | No | Yes, Parse fidelity 35, Findability 30, Impact 25, Language 10 |
| Same file, same number | Not stated | Not stated | Yes, deterministic |
| Findings shown | Promised: failed sections, missing keywords, formatting issues | None in our run | All, with the text they came from |
| Shows extracted text | Not described | No | “What the ATS read” tab, in reading order |
| Job-description match | “Optional but recommended” | No field | Separate tab: named, implied and missing terms |
| India checks | Fresher and experienced sections in the copy; no field checks | None | Fresher mode, Govt/PSU mode, India flags shown and never counted |
| Gate | None on the landing page | Call/SMS consent checkbox | None |
| File input | PDF, DOC, DOCX | PDF, DOCX, 2 MB, or Naukri profile | PDF, DOCX, pasted text |
Naukri’s six areas do map onto published checks, which tells you what a Naukri band probably reflects. Parsing and structure is our P18 and P19 (standard headings; title, organisation and dates on every role). Keyword match with the acronym example is F1 and F2 (atomic skills; abbreviations spelled out once). Formatting is P9, P10, P11, P12 and P14 (columns, tables, text boxes, contact in the header, images). Content quality is I2 and I6. File hygiene is P1 and P12. What Naukri does not say is how many points any of these carries, and that is what turns a band into a fix list.5
Credit where it is due: the landing page’s answer to “does a low ATS score mean automatic rejection” is “usually not”, it names the closed vendor behind the recycled rejection figure, and it calls the score a diagnostic rather than a pass-fail gate. That matches what 25 recruiters said about rejection. The gap is between the page and the tool, not in the page’s advice.
When should you use Naukri’s checker, and when not?
Use it when you are already on Naukri, the resume it scores is the one attached to your profile, and you do not mind the call. Do not use it to find out what to fix, or to check the file you are sending to an MNC.
The case for it is narrow but real. “Fetch from Naukri Account” scores the exact file a recruiter opens after a Resdex search returns your profile. If Naukri’s band for that file is low, that is one signal that the attached resume is stale or badly built, and it costs nothing but a phone call to learn. Naukri’s own leverage on its own portal is the profile, not the PDF: Resdex search runs on headline, key skills, designation, experience, CTC, notice period and location, with literal Boolean strings and no synonym expansion, so the number that moves Naukri outcomes is profile completeness. The Naukri resume score page separates that number from an ATS score, and how Naukri’s recruiter system parses resumes covers the file on the recruiter side.
The case against it is the same for any checker that hides its working. If the band is “High”, you have learnt nothing you can act on. If it is low, the offered route to the reasons is a paid writer. And the file you send through a company careers page to Workday, SAP SuccessFactors or Darwinbox never touches Naukri’s parser, so a Naukri band says nothing about how those systems will read a two-column template with a photo and a marks table. For that file you need the extracted text and the check that failed.
Two situations, plainly:
- You apply mostly through Naukri. Fill the profile fields first, then run the attached resume through a checker that shows findings, and keep the profile and the PDF agreeing on title, dates and years. Naukri’s band is optional.
- You are a fresher in placement week. Naukri’s landing page gives good fresher advice, including the warning about designed templates from college WhatsApp groups, but the tool returns no findings and has no fresher mode. Use a checker that flags the marks table, the photo and the declaration block as flags you can decide on.
What to do with a Naukri 360 result
Treat the band as a rough signal, fix the structure of the file where a checker shows you the failure, and re-check the file before you attach it again. Whatever Naukri returned, the order of work is the same: one column, contact details as plain text in the body, standard headings, a title and dates on every role, then bullets with a number. After each change, re-upload and confirm the parsed text reads in order.

Questions this article answers
Is the Naukri 360 ATS resume checker free?
The score is free. The landing page and the tool page both say so, and no payment is asked for before the result. What you give instead is a tick on a box that authorises Naukri to call or SMS you about its paid services. The detailed feedback for a low score is a paid resume-writing service.
Naukri ATS resume checker kaise use kare?
naukri.com/naukri360/ats-resume-checker kholo aur Try Our ATS Resume Checker dabao. Woh resume.naukri.com/resume-quality-score par le jaata hai. Wahan 2 MB tak ka PDF ya DOCX upload karo, ya Naukri account se resume fetch karo, consent box tick karo, aur score dikhega. Findings ki list nahi milti.
Does the Naukri 360 checker tell you what to fix?
Not in what we observed. The landing page promises the sections that failed to parse, the missing keywords and the formatting issues, but the tool it links to returned only a band in our 12 September 2026 run. The tool page says a low score can get detailed feedback from Naukri's experts, which is the resume-writing service.
Is the Naukri 360 ATS score the same as the Naukri resume score on my profile?
No. The profile number is a completion percentage of your Naukri profile fields. The Naukri 360 checker scores an uploaded file through the FastForward Resume Quality Score tool on parameters Naukri does not publish. Neither is produced by an employer's ATS.
Will Naukri call me if I check my resume score?
The checkbox under the upload button says that by checking your CV score you authorise Naukri to call or SMS you about Naukri paid services. Ticking it is the condition for the score, so expect a call or a message about resume writing or Naukri360 Pro.
